Halloween may have happened last week, but Tina Knowles Lawson (mother of Beyoncé and Solange) is keeping her costume game strong. The mother of the world's most talented siblings took to Instagram to show off some hilarious photos honoring her children's massively successful 2016 albums.
For her Beyoncé portrait, Mrs. Knowles Lawson took to the iconic image of Beyoncé in her The Holy Mountain-inspired outfit that appeared in the music video for "Formation."
The Solange edition is a riff on the album cover of her younger daughter's recently released A Seat at the Table, which is why a plethora of multi-colored hair clips adorns her head.
Any mother would be proud to raise two globally-renowned pop stars, but this year is one that holds particular significance in the family's rate of success. Both Beyoncé's Lemonade and Solange's A Seat at the Table topped the charts of the Billboard 200, making them the first sibling duo since Michael and Janet Jackson to share number one albums in a single year. And the whole family united over the weekend for Solange's debut performance on Saturday Night Live.
Solange's new album A Seat at the Table, unlike Beyoncé's Lemonade, is available for streaming. Listen to it below via Spotify:
In other music news, Kid Cudi appeared at ComplexCon over the weekend to give his first performance since entering rehab for depression. Watch footage from his set right here.
