Fresh details surrounding the highly-anticipated The Big Lebowski sequel have emerged. Per IndieWire's report, the movie will be titled The Jesus Rolls (previously Going Places), and it's slated to release early next year.

The spinoff will see John Turturro reprise his role as Jesus Quintana, alongside Bobby Cannavale and Audrey Tautou, all of whom unite to play a sexually-charged trio on the run from a gun-toting hairdresser. Jon Hamm, Susan Sarandon, and Pete Davidson also make cameos in the comedy.

Turturro, who wrote, directed, and stars in the film told The Hollywood Reporter, “It feels like a good time to release a transgressive film about the stupidity of men who try and fail and try better to understand and penetrate the mystery of women."

He added, "I look forward to working with Screen Media and bring our work and the character of the Jesus to American audiences.”

The Jesus Rolls is slated for release early 2020. Updates to follow.
