Hours after dropping “Overtime,” Big Sean has pulled through with another fresh track, “Single Again.”

The new song features Jhené Aiko and Ty Dolla $ign and, as Sean explained on Twitter, is all about getting to a place in which you’re happy with yourself. “I never knew that I didn’t know how to be alone in life,” he wrote, stating that he’s only recently discovered the importance of being happy alone. Read his musings below.

This ethos can be heard on “Single Again,” which features bars such as, “Honestly, all the disrespect goddamn near ruined me / All the trust gone, seems like all you say is ‘Prove it to me’ / And you know I second line, don’t go do it to me / Maybe ’cause my mama never worked it out with my dad / Maybe ’cause she had insecurities and she had ’em bad / Maybe ’cause single parallel was all I ever had.”
