Billionaire Boys Club is celebrating legendary hip-hop collective A Tribe Called Quest by releasing a collaborative capsule in partnership with ATCQ and Sony Music’s merchandising company, The Thread Shop. Dubbed “The Space Program,” the drop consists of hoodies, T-shirts, hats, a patch set, and a limited edition leather varsity jacket.

“I consider Pharrell to be a colleague and a brother, so we as Tribe are more than elated to be collaborating with Billionaire Boys Club on a fashion endeavor of this magnitude,” says A Tribe Called Quest’s Q-Tip.

BBC’s go-to motifs have thus been paired with the Tribe’s signature stick figure logo, in addition to the group’s red and green album artwork for The Low End Theory. While the black varsity jacket is the clear standout from the collection, we also see a pullover hoodie featuring the words “FOR MALIK…,” as a nod to the late Phife Dawg of ATCQ.

Tribe’s Consequence, who worked alongside Billionaire Boys Club and The Thread Shop to design the capsule, had this to say regarding the project: “It’s a been a dream come true to design and oversee creative direction for the Billionaire Boys Club x ATCQ collaboration.”

You can look forward to the collaborative collection arriving in conjunction with the release of ATCQ’s “Space Program” video Tuesday, March 13 exclusively at BBC’s NYC flagship, the BBC website, and A Tribe Called Quest’s web store.
