West Coast label BILLY has provided us with an exclusive look at the second drop from its FW18 collection. Per BILLY, “‘Til Day 1’ is an all-at-once initiation into the brand’s adolescence.”

Designer Holly Jovenal here pulls inspiration from her personal history, having conjured up the assortment between the 60-acre horse ranch where she grew up outside of Pittsburgh and in her home in Los Angeles. Admittedly, “workwear isn’t a concept, it’s part of her story.”

While BILLY continues to build on its foundation, after being introduced just last year, “Til Day 1” also implements new directions for outerwear and essentials. We find worn workwear canvas cut like an overcoat, jerseys layered over light thermals, camo jackets, and flannels cut with A-line roominess pointing to the tradition of Japanese avant-garde. Undershirts then pop beneath sweatshirts, while collars are aligned to layer seamlessly, and sleeves boast a curved cut.

Be sure to head on over to BILLY after watching the exclusive FW18 video above.

In other style news, 3sixteen and Alpha Industries have come together to rework military classics.
