Blundstone, the iconic Australian Chelsea boot, is celebrating 50 years of the Original #500 Series with a new campaign titled, “Live in My Blundstones.”

“Live in My Blundstones” will star inspiring individuals with authentic stories about how they rely on their Blundstones in their day-to-day lives. Dedicated Blundstone wearers can take part in the campaign by using the hashtag #LiveInMyBlundstones.

The Original #500 Series has long been a mainstay for farmers, builders, and workers thanks to its rugged comfort and durability. More recently, it’s been worn by the more fashion-conscious, too, thanks to its simple appearance and unisex design.

Blundstone knows the old adage “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it,” and therefore has kept the boot fairly true to the original 1968 model, updating only where technological advances will improve the quality. There have also been new color and designer combinations introduced, but as Steve Gunn, Blundstone’s CEO, says, “There would be an uproar if we were to change the boot much.”
