Much like the 3.0 CSL Hommage from last year, the BMW 2002 Hommage - which will be shown at the Concorso d'Eleganza at Villa d'Este this weekend - borrows its design from a classic racing model.

Created in celebration of the car's 50th anniversary, the Hommage pays tribute to the turbo coupe through an aggressive rear and front fender build, widened to accommodate a low-sitting, sporty kit.

Round headlights are tinged golden yellow to reflect the original, while four exhaust pipes at the rear honor BMW's high-performance M series.
