Los Angeles-based lifestyle brand Bristol-Studio this week gives us a look at its FW18 collection, inspired by founder and creative director Luke Tadashi’s Japanese heritage, as well as his grandmother. The label notes that the range is ultimately a love letter to Tadashi’s grandma, "a woman who shaped him much as his own mother, and an homage to his grandparents' life which began in Japan in the 1920s through WWII and ends in America."

Furthermore, Bristol-Studio FW18 points to post-World War II, evoking a worn and lived-in feel, all while staying true to the brand's athletics ethos. Various styles from within the capsule are then fully reversible, a nod to when basketball players flip garments and wear them inside out.

Also a part of FW18 is a special collaboration with adidas on the Crazy BYW sneaker.

The shoe represents Luke's first love, basketball, and will become available during NBA All-Star Weekend at adidas Consortium Stores and Nice Kicks LA from February 15 through February 18.
