Prior to the release of her debut album, SEXORCISM, arriving later this year, Brooke Candy shares the music video for her collaboration with Charli XCX and Maliibu Miitch, titled "XXXTC." The track, which explores sexuality, amassed 100,000 streams in less than 24 hours upon being featured on Spotify’s “New Music Friday."
According to Candy's representation, her "XXXTC" visual is a stripper fantasy that uses CGI to blend elements of sexuality, tattoos, and technology. The video is directed by Dejan Jovanovic of design and production studio DE-YAN, and photographer Luke Abby.
“Working on this video with Dejan and Luke was such an amazing experience,” says Brooke. “I love making music and visuals from start to finish; from making the song, finding the right features, pulling references for the video once we’ve established the overall vibe, and then editing and making teasers."
"Art direction is something I love doing – both for myself and for others. It’s an outlet for my artistry, a way to explore concepts and styling, and helps me push the limits of my own creativity. It’s collaborative, just like my upcoming album, which features so many amazing women – like Ashnikko, Iggy Azalea, Rico Nasty, Mallibu Miitch, and Charli XCX - who I believe are doing something unapologetically next level,” she adds.
