London-based Luxury fashion destination Browns has put its own editorial spin on some stand-out pieces for SS19 with its latest editorial. The shoot takes highlights from fashion houses including Prada and Balenciaga, along with exciting pieces from newer men’s fashion names including Paria Farzaneh and Jacquemus to Sri Lanka in a bid to break free from the confines of everyday reality.
The styling selection for the photoshoot spotlights neo-bohemian trends – tie-dye, stonewash denim, and print clashes – exploring themes such as Californication and the animal kingdom, modeled by Sami Younis.
“Travel in the far east has long been associated with spirituality and finding one’s true self,” says Browns editor Sarah Bonser of the editorial. “With this in mind, the setting felt like the ideal backdrop for the editorial. Few countries can offer such variety in a relatively small area, from the bustling city of Colombo, to the tea plantations of Kandy, lush rainforests and surfers paradise beaches.”
And though you can see every piece from the bold new photoshoot over at brownsfashion.com, we thought it helpful to narrow down the selection to some pieces which look particularly awesome in context.
Our picks include stand-out patterned designs by BY WALID and LVMH prize-shortlisted Iranian designer Paria Farzaneh, sophisticated pants styles by Our Legacy and Jil Sander, and a particularly statement spread-collar shirt by Prada.
