Among the many game-changing cars premiering at this year’s Geneva Motor Show is Bugatti’s brand-new Chiron.

Billed as the “most powerful, fastest, most luxurious and most exclusive production super sports car in the world,” the Chiron is equipped with an unbelievable power output of 1,500 HP, and an exceptionally high torque value of 1,600 Nm between 2,000 and 6,000 rpm. This output is the result of a unique eight-liter W16 engine newly developed by Bugatti, in combination with the four new, larger turbochargers that are controlled by two-stage turbocharging, an innovation that Bugatti is introducing, and a large number of other technical refinements and innovations.

With all that power under the hood, Bugatti was forced to limit the maximum speed for road use of the Chiron to 420 kmh (260 mph). Construction of each vehicle will take place at the company’s headquarters in Molsheim, with only 500 of these cars to be produced. The standard model comes in at €2.4 million net (~$2.6 million USD). As of time of writing, advance orders have been received for one third of the total production run, while the first vehicle is due to be delivered to a customer this fall.

Take a first look at the beast above and peep the Chiron in person at the Bugatti stand in Hall 1 at the Geneva International Motor Show from March 1 to 13.
