Where form meets function

Austria and Berlin-based cultural publication C-Heads is back at it with their 35th issue. Their latest volume showcases artists such as the legendary British photographer Terry O’Neill, popular American songstress Maggie Lindemann, Motoko Watanabe and Shaul Margulies – the founders of House of Small Wonder in Berlin, L.A photographer Darren Ankenman and Graham Dunn, German model Swantje Paulina Wördemann, French model Maëlys of MD Management on the cover photographed by Marco Rothenburger and Katarina Hildebrandt, and many more. C-Heads immerses into a visual journey of stunning photography in beautiful places and questions about the meaning of home, life-changing travel experiences and magical hiding places as a child.

Editors-in-chief, sisters Christine & Sigrun Guggenberger had this to say about the theme of issue 35:

“From our own experience we know that every time you arrive to a new place, you are filled with this wonderful feeling of excitement but you are also anxious of what to expect. Some places welcome you at first sight, others pull you out of your comfort zone and make you feel lost and lonely at the beginning until you finally really arrive. But all places have one thing in common: You always take a part of them with you no matter how the experience was and where your journey is heading to and they become a part of who you are.”

“With this issue we want to take you all on a small journey of beautiful photographs taken in different places and give some food for thought on photography, the meaning of home and travels and the beauty and love that we find all along in different places and people.”
