With the presidential election looming on the horizon, The Life of Pablo merch designer Cali Thornhill DeWitt's newest body of work couldn't have come at a better time thematically.

Inspired by recent American history, the series consists of 29 Stars and Stripes flags with flock lettering in various sizes and from various time periods and places. Each flag refers to a specific event in American history, such as the death of Marilyn Monroe, The Waco Siege, and the trial of O.J. Simpson.

An interesting underlying theme behind the exhibit is the influence of the media in pushing these events to light, to the extent of being almost unavoidable. Through creative mediums, we get a glimpse into the mind of DeWitt's perception of modern news.

If you're interested in checking DeWitt's artwork out, the exhibition will be available from October 13 to November 19 at Eighteen Gallery in Copenhagen.
