In the latest continuation of Calvin Klein's creative partnership with The Andy Warhol Foundation, CK has featured nude prints taken by the prominent late artist on a range of underwear and plain white tees.
Titled Andy Warhol: Exposures, ’77-’85, the collection uses four polaroid shots depicting the human body in statuesque poses, given a ’90s aesthetic on Calvin Klein's minimalist wardrobe essentials. The new line marks the second edition of the brands' underwear capsule under the creative direction of art-lover Raf Simons, the first having featured two provocative prints from Warhol's film Kiss.
Warhol is the muse of many brands at the minute, with recent prints adorning Uniqlo tees and SUPER eyewear, to name a few. On top of his iconic prints being featured on the back of CK trunks and boxer-briefs, this is the first time that the label's popular underwear waistband has featured both Calvin Klein and Andy Warhol's names side-by-side. The same applies to bralettes, bikinis, and boy shorts for the ladies.
