Cardi B’s “Bodak Yellow” has stayed in the number 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for the third week in a row, marking a new milestone for the Bronx rapper. As Billboard reports, “Bodak Yellow” is now the longest running number 1 by a female solo rapper ever, surpassing Lauryn Hill’s “Doo Wop (That Thing)” which ruled the charts for two weeks in 1998 with a number 1 debut.
“Bodak Yellow” dropped to the number 2 spot after two nonconsecutive weeks atop the Streaming Songs chart, with 47.6 million U.S. streams. However, it became Cardi B's first top 10 in the Radio Songs chart, moving from the number 11 to 10 spot.
Other happenings on the Billboard Hot 100 this week include Post Malone's "Rockstar," featuring 21 Savage, logging a third week at the number 2 spot, and the Beyoncé remix of J Balvin and William’s “Mi Gente” moved to the number 3 spot from 21.
