Karl Lagerfeld’s Chanel runway shows are always extraordinary; from staging a feminist revolution, to dining in a Parisian café, exploring an art gallery, or simply going to a grocery store. This time, for the house’s couture show held at Paris's iconic Grand Palais, the maverick designer transformed his runway into a casino complete with slot machines and "CC" decorated poker tables. Croupiers dealt cards to a special guest list that extended to such beauties as campaign girl Kristen Stewart, Lily Rose Depp and her mother Vanessa Paradis, Lara Stone, and Julianne Moore.
With dark brows and severely bobbed hair, the models, which included model-of-the-moment Kendall Jenner, walked around the set in quilted suits and feathered, embellished gowns. Jenner closed the show in a structured off-white satin suit which boasted a trailing semi-sheer cape and large floral embellishing.
