Everyone can appreciate showing some hometown love, but leave it to Chaz French to turn his into a lilac-hued, psychedelic frenzy. Which is really the only way to describe his new video for "Hol' Up," a deliriously giddy odyssey through his native Georgetown that finds featured artist Shy Glizzy along for the ride. "Excited to work with Shy and excited for the world to see DC in this light," French said about the visual cut. "I feel like it’s our time and we goin keep puttin on for the city until they recognize our force." Watch it below.

It's been a busy year for Chaz. Over the summer, he released his politically-charged debut album True Colors, which saw collaborations from the likes of BJ the Chicago Kid and is the record on which "Hol' Up" first appeared. He's also about to embark on a national tour - the amazingly titled 'Never Had Sh*T' Tour - the full dates of which can be found here.

Stream True Colors below via Spotify.
