Chris Tucker killed two birds with one stone by posting a picture of himself beside Rush Hour co-star Jackie Chan this weekend. Not only did the image mark Chan's 65th birthday, but by holding up four fingers, the pair appeared to be telling fans that Rush Hour 4 hasn't been forgotten.
It feels like eons since the fourth installment in the Rush Hour franchise was first teased, especially considering how many years the rumors have been in circulation and the fact Rush Hour 3 came out 12 years ago. In terms of "official" news, the first confirmation came via Chan's appearance on The Cruz Show back in 2017, but since then, information about the return of the buddy cop saga has been thin on the ground.
Of course, this post doesn't give us much in terms of specifics. There's no hint about whether the film is in production already, but it at least shows the actors still have Rush Hour on their minds. As Tucker told ESPN last year, “It’s happening. This is gonna be the Rush of all Rushes. Jackie is ready and we want to do this so that people don’t ever forget it.”
