Tasked with the titles of Director of Photography and Film Editor for Mad Max: Fury Road, it falls upon the shoulders of John Seale and Margaret Sixel respectively to bring coherence to the plethora of action scenes throughout the movie. Starting with over 480 hours of footage covering 2,700 individual shots, Sixel employed "eye trance" and "crosshair framing" techniques during the shooting in order to isolate key visual information. From a viewer's perspective, the more hectic scenes are easily comprehensible, and understanding the action is subsequently easier.
