Continuing its recent love-in with all things Americana, Japanese label COOTIE shows off its grunge-infused SS16 collection in this murky editorial for GRIND magazine.

The collection plays on the grunge era’s stylistic tropes, including "drug rug" style cardigans, flannel shirts and embroidered souvenir jackets. Models sport longer, messier hair styles and are photographed in rainy conditions and dull lighting - adding to the dingy and gloomy vibe for which grunge was also known.
