Swedish brand COS has teamed up with Japanese architect Sou Fujimoto on Forest of Light, a new installation featured at this year's Milan Furniture Fair.

The installation takes inspiration from COS' SS16 collection and explores ideas of interaction and perspective. The huge dark space is illuminated by towering cones of light that are designed to respond to visitors' movements. Specially-composed sounds, subtle fog and mirrored walls create an immersive, infinite landscape where the conical spotlights become abstracted trees in a shifting forest of light.

Fujimoto said the installation “connects fashion, space and forest as a form of architecture.”

COS x Sou Fujimoto's "Forest of Light" is open from April 12-17. If you can't make it, see what COS did last year with Snarkitecture.
