Bamford Watch Department is known for their custom Rolex watches, as well as their high-profile artist collaborations, which includes Wes Lang, Jose Parla, Marc Quinn and others. Today, the brand presents their latest collaboration with New York artist Daniel Arsham. Together they worked on “The Black Moon” Rolex Milgauss.

The watch receives the usual custom black PVD treatment by Bamford, with the dial being the true gem of the project. The watch is solid 904L stainless steel with an internal Faraday cage designed to withstand magnetic fields up to a strength of 1000 Gauss. The face, meanwhile, contains a painting Arsham made of the moon with a section missing. It is printed on a unique mother of pearl dial using a secret proprietary emulsion technique.

Limited to only 13 pieces, the Daniel Arsham x Bamford Watch Department Rolex Milgauss “The Black Moon” is available from Five Story New York, colette Paris and Bamford Watch Department London.
