New York-based multidisciplinary artist Daniel Arsham has teamed up with actor and director James Franco for the second installment in his nine-part "Future Relic" series, which together form one story about life after humanity’s ill-fated attempt to save the planet from ecological disaster. Entitled "Future Relic 02," the short film features a worker played by James Franco who spends his days underground indexing and destroying objects from a past civilization. Shot over four days in Arsham’s Brooklyn studio, the project acts as a small glimpse of what Arsham plans to screen at the 2016 Tribeca Film Festival. You can watch the first installment of the series, "Future Relic 01," here.
