Al long last, the streaming link for Danny Brown‘s lost documentary, Danny Brown: Live at the Majestic, has finally arrived — alongside the dates for the fifth iteration of his “Bruiser Thanksgiving” charity concert.
Live at the Majestic takes viewers into the artist’s day-to-day in the lead up to his 2016 album, Atrocity Exhibition. It’s packed with interviews, insight into previous albums, and footage of his early days in Detroit, focusing on how he morphed from drug dealer into the force he is today.
In terms of Bruiser Thanksgiving 5 — which Brown organizes in collaboration with the Bruiser Brigade — the concert will take place on November 21 at Detroit’s Masonic Temple Roller Rink. Tickets are $30 and are available to buy now. Valee, JPEGMAFIA, Sam Austins, BEARCAT, and Kyle Ha + Jay Daneil = Fandamentals are all set to appear.
The Detroit rapper has also promised that a portion of the proceeds will go to Inside Out Detroit, a local organization that introduces local students to the world of poetry and self expression.
