When he's not writing tracks with Anderson .Paak on the down low or making videos with Stephen Colbert, Chance the Rapper somehow has time to host open mic events in his beloved hometown of Chicago. Fittingly titled "Open Mike," the evenings are thrown every now and then by Chance as a way for local youth to get engaged with their art in a very public setting. And at last night's "Open Mike," Dave Chappelle just happened to show up. Watch his set below.
Chappelle treated the crowd to a selection of his characteristically raucous stand-up while also fielding a few questions from the audience. Unsurprisingly, things got mildly political, but it was an overall tame set from the comedian. The evening also marked something of a reunion for Chance and Chappelle, as both were in attendance at Barack Obama's farewell party held at the White House last month.
Revisit the video for Chance's "No Problem" below.
