The death of a legendary artist inevitably re-triggers public appreciation for their body of work and contributions to culture. One only has to look at the overwhelming response to the passing of David Bowie to see the cycle at work.
DJ and mixtape creator Terry Urban found a unique way to pay homage to Bowie while also giving a nod to one of hip-hop's most notorious (no pun intended) fallen artists, Biggie Smalls. Urban produced a sonically pleasing mashup of Bowie and B.I.G.'s work under the title "Biggie Stardust."
It's the posthumous collaboration you didn't know you needed, until now.
