With Deadpool 2 slated to premiere on May 18, convenience store chain 7-Eleven has teamed up with America’s favorite anti-hero as part of a massive marketing campaign for the upcoming film.

Starting Monday, May 7, Deadpool will come to 7-Eleven stores through a first-of-its-kind augmented reality (AR) in-store experience, along with movie ticket prizes, and exclusive Deadpool-themed products such as Slurpee drinks, straws, cups, chimichangas, and more.

For the full experience, users can access “Meet Deadpool” via the 7-Eleven mobile app. The new AR experience brings Deadpool into the store, engaging customers with new surprise activities each week, the chance to win a trip to Las Vegas, and more.

After downloading the app, tapping the camera icon on the home screen of the 7-Eleven app activates Deadpool, who then guides you through the experience. Take a selfie and Deadpool scribbles over it with his red marker. You can also find “zap codes” in the stores and unlock 7Rewards bonus points. The activities will change every week, encouraging fans to make repeat visits.
