The release date for Deadpool 2 has been brought forward, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Originally slated for a June 1 release, the piece claims the movie will hit theaters two weeks early on May 18.
The move comes after Fox reportedly reshuffled the release date for three of its 2018 films to avoid Deadpool 2 coming out at the same time as upcoming X-Men movies. The New Mutants will now release on February 22, 2019, while Gambit will arrive on February 22, 2019.
However, Deadpool 2 will debut just two weeks after Avengers: Infinity War and one week before Solo: A Star Wars Story, so it won't exactly have an uncrowded release slot.
