Recent Central Saint Martins graduate Dilara Findikoglu, who hails from Istanbul but is based in London, took to the British capital to unveil her SS17 collection in one of the city's many seedy strip clubs. The designer took viewers on a bombastic timewarp, from Marie Antoinette's decadent rococo heyday through to ’70s-era Bowie a la Ziggy Stardust.

The clothes on show were an opulent—glam mix of Harlequin print, exploded sleeves, corseted bustiers, patent leather, glittery embroidery and python-embossed metallic leather. There were even some biker vibes thrown in, via prison-style tattoos, gothic lettering and gang symbols, which were plastered over the collection's lush satin pieces. Strong stuff from the upcoming designer.
