Key Features: The boots feature a hybrid construction, with the front typical of desert chukkas and military boots and the back half of the midsole and heel reminiscent of Dior’s sneaker offerings. The boot also features a suede bootie that extends past the ankle and a lace toggle for quick tightening and loosening. Dior’s SS19 lineup also features a chukka-style Derby shoe without the bootie and a range of Derby shoes with a full leather upper atop the same hybrid sole.

Price: $1,200 (boots), $1,100 (beige Derby shoe), and $1,050 (navy and black Derby shoe)

Buy: Dior

Editor’s Notes: Dior has unveiled a luxurious line of hybrid combat-style boots designed by Kim Jones for SS19, featuring a split-style sole for a look that's part-sneaker, part-military boot. A pop of color can be seen on the plastic heel counter, while the rest of the midsole is done up in white and black.

Premium leather uppers and a suede bootie complete the look. If the bootie is a touch too much, there is also a chukka-style Derby shoe without the bootie. Dior’s SS19 footwear also includes a number of hybrid Derby shoes, which we previously looked at here.

At the time of writing, only the black boots are available online, for $1,200. The Derby shoes ($1,050) are available in navy blue and black, while the chukka-style Derby shoe ($1,100) is available in beige.
