For Spring 2018, Kris Van Assche has reinterpreted the Dior Homme suit. Here, the designer implements a “double denim” technique, revisiting the combination of straight leg five-pocket jeans with denim shirt and jacket styles.
We then find silk neckties paired with revamped suiting, while the label’s iconic silver-embossed black leather logo tag has been utilized to brand the garments externally.
The denim is then showcased in various washes, including raw indigo, vintage black, and bleached, with standout details such as sheepskin collars, snap-stud buttons, rose embroidery and various graphic elements injecting added life into the clothing.
Dior’s Spring 2018 denim collection is making its way to brand accounts this month. Coinciding with the drop, custom pieces will be available at pop-ups in London, New York, Los Angeles, Paris, Hong Kong, and Tokyo.
Recently, Snoop Dogg’s son Cordell Broadus starred in a new Dior Homme takeover.
