disney marvel theme park concept art

Marvel is upping its presence at Disneyland and Walt Disney World theme parks. Yesterday, via Disneyland Paris’ official news site, an artist concept image reveals what the Marvel-themed area will look like when it opens in 2019.

If you peek closely at the concept image you will spot Avenger‘s heroes Spider-Man, Black Widow, Black Panther, and Thor mingling in the crowd. Interacting with your favorite superheroes isn’t the only way Marvel will elevate the audience experience, however. It seems that you’ll have a shot at dabbling with the latest Pym technology alongside Ant-Man and the Wasp, and be treated to new attractions including a “hyper-kinetic” Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster.

The project is part of a $2 million operation to expand Disney theme park offerings.  As always, check back for confirmed information on the Marvel park as it emerges.
