Disney Pixar has just released a new animated short called Purl, an eight-minute-long film that depicts the struggle of a single woman trying to make it in a bro-heavy office environment.

Purl — a chipper, pink, ball of yarn whose personality becomes increasingly compromised as she tries to make her opinion heard — is our protagonist. Yet the more she alters herself to fit in among the army of suits, the question of how much she's willing to sacrifice becomes all the more pressing. Watch above.

The short is somewhat similar to Bao, Pixar's previous animation that was released towards the end of last year. Both movies are part of its in-house SparkShorts venture, which looks to inject the studio with more experimental narratives and provide opportunities for up-and-coming creators.
