New York eyewear label District Vision has unveiled the District Black Rose, a pair of Japanese-made sunglasses specifically-designed for runners.

The label's founders Max Vallot and Tom Daly are alumni of Saint Laurent and Acne, respectively, and that high-end fashion experience is clearly felt in the new specs. They were designed in collaboration with leading athletes, including Rickey Gates and Knox Robinson, and the frame features D+ lens technology, an adjustable hypoallergenic rubber nose pad, and temple tips with a titanium core. The lenses have a "variable light transmission," which evens out fluctuations in sunlight when running from light to dark.

They also come complete with a handwoven water repellent ribbon strap to be used in extreme performance conditions, a high-grade 630GSM microfibre running pouch, and a special indestructible trail running case, made in collaboration with Pelican.

Check them out above, and head over to the District Vision online store to cop.
