Last week, Solo: A Star Wars Story co-writer Jonathan Kasdan announced that Donald Glover’s character Lando Calrissian was pansexual. In an interview with the Huffington Post, the writer explained, “There’s a fluidity to Donald and Billy Dee Williams’ sexuality,” adding of Calrissian, “He doesn’t make any hard or fast rules. I think it’s fun. I don’t know where it will go.”

Since the interview, Glover has followed up with comments of his own. Flanked by co-stars Alden Ehrenreich, Emilia Clarke, and Paul Bettany, Glover joked on radio station SiriusXM, “How can you not be pansexual in space?” He continued, “Yeah, he’s coming on to everybody.”

He ended his comments by saying, “It’s like, no, only guys or girls. No, it’s anything. This thing is literally a blob. Are you a man or a woman? Like, who cares? Have a good time out here.”

It remains to be seen whether or not we’ll see any pansexual developments in future Star Wars adventures, with Calrissian rumored to be getting his own spinoff movie. Till then, you can check out Glover’s comments below and decide for yourself, with Solo: A Star Wars Story in theaters now.

In other movie news, a female Muslim superhero movie is reportedly in the works at Marvel.
