Dries Van Noten has become one of the most important fashion designers of his generation over the last couple of decades. Relevant both in the menswear and womenswear markets, the brand remains to be one of the very few larger independent labels with no big stock market listed owner attached to it. The designer himself now gave T Magazine a tour of his Antwerp studio and offices. Van Noten explains why Antwerp is the right city for him, why the building he is in, is the right space for him as a designer and how important fabrics are to him.
