This week’s Dropcast is all about giving back. Hosts Jian DeLeon and Noah Thomas are joined by Jack Carlson, published author, actual rower, and founder of Rowing Blazers, to talk about his recent charitable collaboration with Noah clothing and Row New York. Also joining them is Ball Boyz co-host Ian Servantes—who apparently had nothing better to do.
Jack talks about the best part of the collaboration—helping out underserved kids in the five boroughs of New York City. The collab is donating a portion of sales to help out Row New York, a nonprofit organization that makes the elite sport of rowing more inclusive and accessible to students from all walks of life—and goes as far as helping them get into college.
Noah tells a story about how he finessed his way into a Moët x Virgil Abloh party, and Jian won’t shut up about the Needles x Vans tassel slip-ons. We also asked Dropcast listeners to weigh in with a confession: What’s the most you’ve ever spent on a jacket? Now that it’s finally outerwear season in the Big Apple, we were expecting to hear a ton of voicemails flexing on us—and we were right. Listen and find out what warm-weather state has a surprising amount of expensive coat-coppers.
And for a chance to hear your voicemails on The Dropcast, call our hotline at 833-HIGHSNOB (833-444-4766). Please subscribe so we can continue to talk about our debilitating outerwear addiction for a living.
