Diver Vernon Unsworth, who was involved in the cave rescue, told CNN that Musk’s attempt to aid the rescue with a mini-submarine was a “PR stunt” and that Musk could “stick his submarine where it hurts.” As previously reported, Musk and his engineering team sent over a “kid-sized” submarine to support attempts to free the boys.
In response to Unsworth’s comments, Musk said in a series of now-deleted tweets that he “never saw this British expat guy who lives in Thailand (sus) at any point,” before adding in a subsequent tweet, “Sorry pedo guy, you really did ask for it.”
