After mysterious ads for a fake drug called “Revival” surfaced at the end of October, Eminem fans have expecting him to drop his first album in four years. It appears the wait is nearly over, with the rapper posting a photo to Instagram teasing a new song called “Walk on Water.”
Continuing the fake drug theme, the new song title is written on a prescription pad for “Revival” with the instruction “Take as needed.” No word yet on when exactly Eminem will share the full track, but the release date for Revival has been set for November 17, and he is scheduled to perform on Saturday Night Live the day after. We expect Slim Shady to drop “Walk on Water” ahead of the rest of Revival, so stay tuned.
In addition to gearing up for the release of his ninth studio album, Em previewed a fresh batch of merch in collaboration with Carhartt to coincide with the 15th anniversary of his biographical film 8 Mile. There was also a special screening of the film in Detroit Wednesday night in the theater where the movie first premiered 15 years ago.
