Before meeting and eventually becoming business partners in Mexico City, architects Emmanuel Picault and Ludwig Godefroy spent their childhoods growing up in neighbouring towns in Normandy, France. At first, the duo endeavoured to create a name for themselves in the commercial realm, largely providing design work for nightclubs.

Today, Picault and Godefroy operate exclusively in the field of residential housing, developing their own projects and building a body of work that incorporates pre-Hispanic references, modernism, and inspiration from the likes of Le Corbusier, Marcel Breuer and Oscar Niemeyer.
