After collaborating with D.R.A.M. on his Big Baby D.R.A.M. debut, Erykah Badu took to The New York Times office yesterday to be subject to an interview filled with crowdsourced questions. In addition to the Q&A, Badu also gave an impromptu performance of a pair of classic tracks.

With musical accompaniment, Badu in turn let loose of her breakout hit "On & On," as well as the Mama's Gun number "Time's A Wastin'."

In following up on the performance, talk surrounded Badu's recent musical inspirations, how to create during times of turmoil, and motherhood advice.
