Designer: Faith Connexion

Location: Paris, France

Season: Fall/Winter 2017

Key Pieces: The unraveling grandpa cardigans embroidered with a nest of stones, gold sequin track pants, a net top embroidered with a bejeweled cross, and that camo top emblazoned with Kappa’s infamous logo. Editor’s Notes: It’s the most fashion-y collection from a brand that’s always spun out a strong offering of streetwear-inspired threads. Faith Connexion has quickly become a firm fave on the Paris Fashion Week schedule. It might have something to do with the fact that members of the former Balmain team are behind the brand, though it’s never been formally announced that Christophe Decarnin (former Balmain creative director) is at the helm. Their latest offering stayed true to their grunge-cum-urban aesthetic (and a spangly, bejeweled update) and their signature graffiti influence ran throughout.
