Highsnobiety

Instead of showing up late to his mother's lunch invite, world champion skier Filip Flisar persisted not only to make it on time, but more importantly, to arrive in style.

When you're a professional skier, sometimes you can utilize such athletic prowess to your advantage, like when you need to get somewhere in a hurry. But this time around, Flisar not only made use of his skis, but also a real-life jetpack.

Filip's jetpack ultimately produces a jet blast that reaches temperatures of 850 degrees Celsius with 40kg of thrust, resulting in Filip racing through the streets of Maribor, Slovenia at speeds of 120kmph.

So to see just how Flisar was able to make it to his mom's roast feast on time, press play underneath.
