Aside from his promising acting career, most notably playing Mike Wheeler on Netflix’s Stranger Things, Finn Wolfhard is a talented musician. He’s shredded his guitar on Mac Demarco’s shoulders, covered everyone from New Order to Guns N’ Roses, and even co-directed a music video.

He’s also in his very own band called Calpurnia. This weekend, the band stopped by Rough Trade’s store in Brooklyn, New York, where they covered a classic Velvet Underground tune.

Before launching into “Here She Comes Now,” Wolfhard dedicated the song to the late Velvet Underground frontman Lou Reed as well as Hulk Hogan. Check out their cover below, captured by Rolling Stone right here.

In addition to covering Velvet Underground, Calpurnia also performed versions of song like Pixies’ “Where Is My Mind,” Weezer’s “El Scorcho”, and Twin Peaks’ “Butterfly”. They also played a few original songs that will appear on their first EP. Stay tuned for more details on that.
