FKA twigs is in the midst of an epic comeback following the recent release of “Cellophane.” After debuting the ‘Magdalene’ tour in Los Angeles, twigs spent the weekend at Park Avenue Armory in New York for Red Bull Music Festival. Last night’s show was full of surprises including a special appearance by A$AP Rocky to perform their special collaboration, “Fukk Sleep” on stage.

During both concerts, twigs premiered about 30 minutes worth of new material. Track titles have yet to be confirmed, but fans have tentatively named the songs “1000 Eyes,” “Mary Magdalene,” “Home with You,” “Sad Day,” “Holy Terrain,” “Day Bed” and “Mirrored Heart.” Twigs’ set integrated songs from EP1, EP2, LP1 and M3LL155X and included support from a full team of dancers, an impressive sword fighting sequence, a mesmerizing pole-dancing routine, and a dreamy confetti explosion. (Don’t be surprised when she eventually transitions to Cirque du Soleil.)

Costumes for the entrancing performance were beautifully styled with an assortment of Nike products. For a quick refresher, twigs served as the creative director for Nike Women’s Spring Zonal Strength Tights campaign in 2017. Twigs’ capsule collection for “Cellophane” is also available to purchase at the shows.
