It’s that time of the year again. Forbes are unveiling their annual slew of lists earmarking the artists in the game who are performing the best in terms of their critical and financial value. The "Hip-Hop Cash Princes" list is one of the most esteemed, and it focuses on young rappers under-30 who are amassing a notable amount of hype.
This year’s list features the likes of Lil Yachty, Lil Uzi Vert and Desiigner, who all had unprecedented commercial breakthroughs last year. Judges this year included UK MC Little Simz, hip-hop icon Too $hort and Kendrick Lamar’s manager Dave Free. Also featured are New York’s Younger M.A and UK grime talisman Stormzy, who is currently in the running for the UK Number 1 album slot for his new LP Gang Signs & Prayer.
