Rare pieces from the collection of San Francisco-based artist and former record label owner, Frank Kozik, are now up for auction on Paddle8, running through March 7.

The collection spans a Quickstrike pair of the Nike SB Dunk High Premiums that he co-designed with the Swoosh as well as a three-pack drop of PUMA suede low-profile sneakers (again, co-designed with the brand). Rare pieces of music memorabilia that span his career as an Austin- (and then San Francisco-) based graphic artist, and subsequent record producer, also feature, as well as his own coveted collection of designer toys – including the highly-prized Medicom Be@rbricks.

For those who know their cultural history, Kozik pretty much single-handedly revived the art of gig posters during his time as a graphic artist in '80s Austin and '90s San Francisco, producing work with Nirvana, the Beastie Boys, The White Stripes, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Offspring, Pearl Jam and Butthole Surfers in his 20+ year career.

Moving to San Francisco in the early '90s, he then set up his own record label, Man's Ruin Records, and was the guy behind the smoking rabbit Smorkin' Labbit. He's also a key member of the radical Stuckism art movement.
