It’s now increasingly evident that Freddie Gibbs's upcoming album, You Only Live 2wice, is going to find the Indianan rapper back to his very best. More heat from Gibbs emerged this weekend on Dr.Dre's Beats 1 show The Pharmacy in the form of “Alexys,” on which gangsta Gibbs unleashes more hungry and hard bars with Kaytranada and BadBadNotGood jumping on the beat.

After being locked up at the end of 2016, Gibbs has returned to action with some ferocious bars, and on “Alexys,” it’s no different: “Homie at the table chopping Rick James/Sent the package off from Texas its been six days/Keep sweating like a pig until that shit came/Didn’t hurt to keep a job living off in my mama’s spot/Fuck it Imma bust a fucking jug I’m a juggernaut/Drop it off in that water we was cooking hot/Loud packs and molly powder all these niggas pushing out.”

Listen to the track below.

We got the first glimpse into what You Only Live 2wice will sound like when Gibbs dropped the visuals to “Crushed Glass,” watch that below.
