YEEZY and adidas fans call it “frozen yellow,” while those of a Swoosh persuasion refer to it as “volt,” but whatever you call it, 2017’s most popular color is back with a vengeance in a number of SS19 lines.

Back in 2017, frozen yellow could be seen on YEEZY shirts, tees, caps, and sneakers such as the “Super Moon Yellow” Desert Rat 500 and the “Semi Frozen Yellow” Boost 350 V2. Nike, meanwhile, had a “Volt” Air Max 97 and put the color on a range of sportswear and workout gear.

Elsewhere, the electric color pop could be seen in FW17 and SS18 collections from Alexander Wang x adidas Originals, Balenciaga, and Palace (to name just a few). That said, not everyone had the courage to pull off the froy’ow look.

After an initial comeback in last year’s Fall/Winter collections, the color has popped up in several SS19 collections for men and women alike. Recently, bright yellow hues appeared on SS19 apparel and accessories from sportswear brands such as ALCH and adidas, as well as luxury fashion houses including Louis Vuitton, Maison Margiela, and Prada.

If you’re on the lookout for a bold piece to brighten up your spring ’fits, our selection below is the place to look — from sneakers, jackets, and vests to sunglasses, socks, and even headphone cables.
