Casio's G-SHOCK line and independent Singaporean record label Darker Than Wax have teamed up to create a dark, rugged and supposedly "unbreakable" watch.

Releasing under the pair's "New Times" campaign, the watch is inspired by club culture, shadows and intimidating architecture. These inspirations are felt in the subtle contrasts between shades of matte and glossy black, the lines of vibrant sandy yellow, and the "We Move " text discreetly inscribed on the watch dial.

The campaign arrives in conjunction with Darker Than Wax's fifth Anniversary in December, and sees elements of fashion, music, design and lifestyle come together not just for the limited-edition G-SHOCK watch, but also for a special mixtape of tunes produced especially by DTW artists from all over the world. Listen below.

The DTW x G-SHOCK watch will retail at $249 SGD (~$176 USD) and will be available for purchase exclusively at Casio G-Factory in Singapore and G-SHOCK stores in London this December. The invite-only preview launch, followed by Darker Than Wax's 5th Anniversary event, will be held on December 9 at CATO Singapore.
